Brawa
Trolleybuses
'Artur Braun in Waiblingen' was founded by Artur Braun in 1948 as a small distribution company for electrical toy trains. In 1963 the company name was changed to Brawa and in 1970 the company moved to Remshalden. After Günther Eheim decided to concentrate on manufacturing aquarium equipment Brawa bought the Eheim railway accessory line which also included the trolleybuses. Production of these trolleybuses continued until 2001 but overhead wires, poles and collectors between the Eheim (earlier) and Brawa (later) are generally incompatible with each other even though the buses and other accessories are the same. Item 6110S in the listing below is a conversion device to let older Eheim buses run on the newer Brawa overhead wire and switches.
