Pictured here are some of the 1/87 truck models built by Peter Bakhtar that were mentioned in the 'Where do you draw the line' thread on the 87thScale.info messageboard.

Unfortunately, we did not receive any descriptive material but they may serve as inspiration to other modelers. The vehicles were built for display on Peter's model railroad modules as part of the 1920s & 30s Modular Model Railroad which can be seen at: www.trainweb.org/20s30s/ 

This ice service truck was used to lift large blocks of ice up to loading platforms where workers would then slide the blocks into the roof hatches of railroad refrigerator cars.
