First models spotted in the early 1970s under the Zee Toys/Zylmex/Zyll brands, bought by RBI (Red Box) in the 1990s.  RBI continued prodution of the old Zee Toys/Zylmex/Zyll models but a new range of simple three inch (~1/64) models appeared around 2000. In 2005, a range of more detailed miniatures appeared ('American Graffiti' / 'Fresh Cherries' series in 1/64) and the companyname was changed to Motormax. In December 2006 a new series of 'Fresh Cherries' was spotted at Walmart in the US, this time in 1/87.
